304 Casting Fitting NPT 1" Class 150 for Plumbing Pipeline
Stainless steel cast fittings are economical connecting components specifically designed for medium and low-pressure piping systems. We produce them using precision casting (sol-gel) technology, which involves creating a wax mold, wrapping it with a ceramic shell, and finally pouring molten stainless steel into it to form the final product.
This process enables the manufacture of products with relatively precise dimensions and good surface finish at a lower cost, making them ideal for general threaded connection applications that do not require special pressure ratings or certifications.
Threaded connection is one of the most widely used connection methods in low-pressure piping systems. Its main advantage is that installation, maintenance, and disassembly are all very convenient, without the need for hot welding, which can significantly reduce construction costs and time.
This 1-inch pipe fitting adopts NPT (National Pipe Thread), with a 1:16 taper. When tightened, it forms an effective mechanical seal, making it the most common thread form in industrial and civil piping systems in North America and globally.
304 stainless steel (with its casting designation CF8) is the most widely used and cost-effective stainless steel grade. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in water, air, and various weakly corrosive media, effectively preventing rust and ensuring the cleanliness of fluid media.
Its superior mechanical properties and ease of processing make it an ideal material for manufacturing low-pressure pipe fittings in fields such as plumbing and general chemical engineering, combining reliability with economy.
It should be noted that according to the ASTM A351 standard, the official designation for cast 304 stainless steel is CF8. Despite slight differences in chemical composition between the two, the industry generally accepts materials labeled as "304", and its performance meets the requirements for use as CF8.
Similarly, although our product dimensions refer to standards such as ISO 4144, they are primarily produced according to widely accepted industry norms to ensure good market versatility and practicality.
Class 150-pound cast pipe fittings are the main products in the plumbing networks of commercial and residential buildings. They are widely used for connecting, diverting, and branching drinking water, fire water, circulating water, and drainage pipes.
Their convenient threaded connection method is favored by installation contractors, enabling the rapid construction of a complete low-pressure fluid conveying system. They are indispensable basic piping components in modern buildings.
