Bright annealing is a critical process in the production of ASTM A269 stainless steel seamless pipes. The pipes undergo high-temperature solution treatment in a protective atmosphere followed by rapid cooling; this prevents surface oxidation, thereby maintaining clean, bright inner and outer surfaces.
