What is Socket Weld Flanges?

Socket Weld Flanges are designed specifically for small-diameter, high-pressure piping systems. Its connection method is to insert the end of the pipeline into the socket of the flange, and then perform corner welding on the outside of the flange. This structure ensures a smooth transition inside the pipeline and low flow resistance. Compared to butt welding, it is easier to weld and align. However, due to the gap between the pipe end and the socket, it should be used with caution in highly corrosive media.

F310S Material Properties

F310S is a high chromium, medium nickel austenitic stainless steel designed specifically for high-temperature conditions. Its core characteristic is excellent antioxidant performance, which can maintain stability at temperatures up to 1093 °C (2000 °F) and is not prone to the formation of oxide skin. Compared to conventional stainless steels such as 304 or 316, it can maintain higher strength and creep resistance at high temperatures. This makes it an ideal material for manufacturing industrial furnaces, heat treatment equipment, burners, and other components that require severe thermal cycling.
