A street elbow with internal and external threads is a special pipe fitting designed to save installation space. One end is female and the other end is male. This unique structure allows it to be directly screwed into another internally threaded pipe fitting (such as a tee or pipe clamp), eliminating the need for a connecting nipple. This not only reduces installation costs and potential leakage points, but also makes pipeline layout more convenient in compact spaces.
The use of CF8M/316 stainless steel material provides excellent corrosion resistance protection for the pipeline system. Compared to ordinary 304 material, 316 can more effectively resist the corrosion of chlorides and various industrial chemical media due to the addition of molybdenum element. For applications such as plumbing, this means that the fittings are less prone to rusting, corrosion, and perforation, which can significantly extend the service life of the entire pipeline network and reduce the risk and cost of later maintenance.
It should be noted that according to the ASTM A351 standard, the official grade for casting 316 stainless steel is CF8M. Although there is a slight difference in chemical composition between the two, it is generally accepted in the industry to use materials labeled with "316", which can meet the performance requirements of CF8M. Similarly, although our product dimensions are based on standards such as ISO 4144, they are mainly produced according to widely accepted industry standards to ensure good market applicability and practicality.
Class 150 cast internal and external threaded elbows are the "problem solvers" in low-pressure plumbing and piping engineering. It is the most ideal choice when a 90° angle needs to be directly drawn from another pipe in a limited space. It is widely used in residential and commercial plumbing systems, HVAC piping, irrigation systems, and general industrial equipment to achieve the most compact and efficient piping connections.
